The Roots Organics Original Potting Soil 1.5 Cubic Feet (Pallet of 70 Bags) is repeatedly washed, to maintain a super low EC and allow you, the grower, to feed your nutrient regimen at full strength without worrying about the nutrient content in the soil. It is composted for 24 months for the highest level of microbial activity possible, so your root zone is optimized for explosive growth and plant development.
It features the perfect ratio of air-to-water, so you get quick drainage and ample oxygenation, leading to the best growing conditions possible and preventing overwatering. This means that the media dries out faster, leaving you the option to feed more frequently and get huge, potent plants!
To use Roots Organics Original Potting Soil 1.5 Cubic Feet (Pallet of 70 Bags), start by finding good quality garden pots with plenty of drainage holes. Fill the bottom half with the potting soil, leaving enough room for the root ball of your plant to be transplanted in (about 2" below the rim of the pot).
Then, add more soil, anchoring the plant in place with your hands and packing it down. You should leave about 1" of space between the top of the media and the rim of your garden pot to prevent water overflowing when you feed. Then, give a thorough watering to lower transplant shock and help your roots take place fast.
